Nexans and 2Connect: large interconnection solutions cable contract strengthening 20 years of partnership

• Nexans will leverage its manufacturing expertise to provide a portfolio of cables as part of a 5-year frame contract, with 2Connect.  
• The cables will be manufactured at Nexans’ Pioltello plant in Italy.

Paris, November 22, 2021 – Nexans has been awarded a large1 contract to be the unique supplier of cables for 2Connect, a custom-designed interconnection solutions company. Based in the Netherlands, 2Connect was originally set up as a distributor of special cables but has since developed into a global A-to-Z manufacturer of interconnection solutions. Strengthening 20 years of partnership with 2Connect, the 5-year contract will see Nexans provide flexible cable designs for specifics moulded connectors used in medical, automation, machinery and industrial equipment.

The frame contract will see Nexans’ Pioltello plant in Italy become 2Connect’s unique supplier of customized cables, which will be suited for harsh environments in factories.
